Instructions for Closing an App on the iPhone

This method helps to completely close apps

Newer iPhones without Home Button (e.g. iPhone X, 11, 12, 13):

1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and release.
2. Scroll through the cards until you find the desired app.
3. Swipe the app card up to close it.

iPhones with Home Button (e.g. iPhone SE, 7, 8):

1. Press the Home Button twice quickly.
2. Scroll through the app previews until you find the desired app.
3. Swipe the app card up to close it.
